Lauren Clifford Knudsen

For Lauren Clifford Knudsen, travel is a passion as much as a career. As an executive-level leader behind the boutique powerhouse public relations and social strategy agency, J Public Relations, she has worked with award-winning hospitality brands, hotels, and resorts for nearly 15 years working in the travel space. Knudsen is smart and nimble on elevated messaging, brand partnerships, and pivotal social media programming. Ashley Feinstein Gerstley

Founder of the Fiscal Femme
Ashley Feinstein Gerstley is a money coach and founder of the Fiscal Femme, where she demystifies the world of personal finance and money for her clients in a fun and accessible way that empowers them to achieve their financial goals. Gerstley and her work has been featured on NBC News, Refinery 29, Bustle, Yahoo Finance, DailyWorth and in Forbes, and Glamour, among others. She has worked in the financial services industry for more than nine years: first as an investment banker, then in corporate finance, and most recently, running The Fiscal Femme. She graduated with a bachelor’s in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tara Grodjesk

Founder of Tara Spa Therapy
Tara Grodjesk has been an innovator and leader in the wellness field for more than 25 years. Certified as a holistic health educator, a massage therapist, and an Ayurvedic practitioner, she was one of the first to introduce Ayurveda to the spa industry. TARA, a wellness lifestyle line, is used professionally in world-class spas nationwide and internationally. Tara has been an active participant of the International Spa Association for 25 years and was chairwoman of ISPA’s first taskforce on Greening and Sustainability and a founding emeritus board member of the Green Spa Network. She was recently named Visionary of the Year in American Spa’s first Women in Wellness Awards. She has been leading and facilitating women’s retreats for more than 16 years and recently founded a Women in Leadership Forum for spa professionals.

Jen Groover

Award-Winning Entrepreneur
Jen Groover has been tagged by Success magazine as a “One-Woman Brand,” a “Creativity and Innovation Guru” and a leading “Serial Entrepreneur” by Entrepreneur magazine, and ranked #8 by SAP in the Top 51 Influencers of Human Potential. Jen Groover’s name has quickly become synonymous with innovation, entrepreneurship, and evolution. She was recently nominated as a UN delegate to the first ever Global Accelerator for the Global Entrepreneurs Council. She also made history at the NYSE, as a member of the first all-female group to ring the opening bell and made Forbes’ list of “50 Founders You Need to Follow on Twitter.” Groover’s energy and multi-faceted, diverse wisdom make her a highly sought after speaker on topics ranging from business to leadership, empowerment to emotional intelligence to healthy living, and enhancing productivity. Sallie Krawcheck

CEO and Cofounder of Ellevest
Financial feminist Sallie Krawcheck is the CEO and cofounder of Ellevest, a recently launched innovative digital investment platform for women. She is the chair of Ellevate Network, the global professional woman’s network, and of the Pax Ellevate Global Woman’s Index Fund, which invests in the top-rated companies in the world for advancing women. She is also the best-selling author of Own It: The Power of Women at Work.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Krawcheck was CEO of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Smith Barney, and Sanford Bernstein. During her career, Krawcheck has had a history of turning around and growing troubled businesses, eliminating Wall Street conflicts of interest, and advocating a true client-centered business model. Fortune magazine called her “The Last Honest Analyst” during her tenure at Sanford Bernstein, and noted that hers was the most influential voice for research quality and integrity.

Krawcheck has also been named among the top 10 of its “100 Most Creative People” in business list as well as one of Entrepreneur magazine’s “Entrepreneurs to Watch,” and she has also been referred to as one of the most successful and influential executives in financial services. Krawcheck also lends her voice to social media, reaching a network of more 1,700,000 followers on LinkedIn and 46,000 on Twitter.

A native of Charleston, SC, Krawcheck attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on the Morehead Scholarship and graduated summa cum laude in 1987. In 1992, she received a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.

Carolyn Parrs and Devi Records

Founders of Women as Game Changers
Carolyn Parrs is the founder of Women As Game Changers and founder and CEO of Mind Over Markets, a marketing communications company devoted to helping sustainable, green, and healthy products and services build their brands and a better world for more than 14 years. She speaks internationally on women’s leadership and green/purpose-driven marketing. Parrs is a certified business, marketing, and life coach and the cohost and producer of the online summit “Women As Game Changers,” featuring 27 powerful women who are changing the game in the world right now. Parrs is the creator of Women Of Green, an online community and news source that turns up the volume of the feminine voice in green. She is the mother of two and lives in Santa Fe, NM, with her son, daughter, and pups, Heart and Soul.

Devi Records is the cofounder of Women As Game Changers Training. She has devoted her life to understanding and working with the below-conscious mind. Records has helped develop many methods that assist both individuals and businesses in becoming more conscious—using strengths more strategically and avoiding potential pitfalls. Records is one of the founding members of the Hakomi Institute, and was the British Isles director of training and development for 10 years. She has many years of clinical practice as well as business coaching with CEOs of major companies. Her client roster ranges from the English Military and Com Team, a mediation company in Germany, to small one-person startups. Records lives in the Rocky Mountains above Boulder, CO, with wild turkeys, deer, and the occasional bear.

Lesley Jane Seymour

Founder of the Covey Club, Former Editor-in-Chief of More
Lesley Jane Seymour is a media entrepreneur and one of the industry’s most respected editorial leaders. She is creating an on- and off-line club called http://www.coveyclub.com/ for women who are life-long learners, who want the tools, connections, and inspiration to live their most authentic life. From 2008 to 2016, she served as editor-in-chief of More, the leading lifestyle magazine for women over 40 with a readership of 1.5 million. She was also the editor-in-chief and social media director of More.com, which attracted more than 12 million monthly page views and 600,000 unique visitors. In July of 2015, Seymour created history by having Michelle Obama guest edit an entire issue—leading to 8.5 billion media impressions worldwide. In 2008, Seymour led More to its first National Magazine Award nomination in the area of personal service for an investigative article called “The Endangered Uterus.” The magazine was also nominated for General Excellence in 2009 and 2012 and won Meredith Creative Excellence Awards in 2008, 2009, and 2010. The magazine won hundreds of other important journalism and SPD (art direction) awards. In 2012, Seymour was named executive director of Meredith’s Beauty Center of Excellence. In 2009, she was named number four on the “2009 Most Powerful Fashion Editors List” by Forbes.

Before taking over More, Seymour served as editor-in-chief for Marie Claire. Under her direction, Marie Claire received a National Magazine Award nomination for General Excellence in 2006 and won several Exceptional Merit in Media Awards. Seymour spearheaded many of Marie Claire’s most recognized cause-related programs, including the Time to Talk Day in Congress to raise awareness of the problem of domestic violence, and the One World/One Wish Campaign for the international relief organization Save the Children. Throughout her tenure, Seymour raised more than $1,000,000 from readers for various charities around the world.

Her experience in the women’s lifestyle field includes serving as editor-in-chief of Redbook, where she repositioned the magazine and developed new editorial programs and features. She also guided Redbook to a National Magazine Award nomination for Personal Service for its comprehensive Breast Cancer Medbook: What to Do When You Find a Lump.

Seymour also served as editor-in-chief of YM, beauty director of Glamour, and senior editor at Vogue. She is the author of two books: On the Edge: Images from 100 Years of Vogue and I Wish My Parents Understood. Seymour has appeared on every major television show from Today, Good Morning America, MSNBC and Hardball to CNN. She is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, has 20,000 followers on social media. In 2013, she was named chair of the Editorial Advisory Board for Duke magazine and a global ambassador for Vital Voices. She is a trustee at Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA.

Ivy Woolf Turk

Founder of Project Liberation
Ivy Woolf Turk is a freedom fighter, storyteller, motivational speaker, workshop innovator, and an International Coach Federation (ICF) and Points of You certified life and resiliency coach in private practice. She is the founder of Project Liberation, where she works with women across all stages of the criminal justice involvement as well as those imprisoned in their lives in one way or another. She also works with both men and women who simply feel stuck in a part of their lives and assists and supports them in finding their way to sustainable freedom and joy. She was recently featured in a recent podcast with Forbes.

Turk is also a consultant to the justice Advocacy Group, LLC, in Alexandria, VA, a 2017 Center for Social Innovation Agent of Change Fellow, and a founding member of the National Council of Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls. She was recently hired by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to conduct coaching groups in its new Health Equity Centers.

Turk has a unique perspective on incarceration, homelessness, and re-entry. A former exec in the advertising and real estate businesses, she found herself caught up in a situation with criminal consequences. While incarcerated at Danbury Federal Prison Camp, Turk taught GED English literacy, yoga, and meditation to groups of demographically diverse women. She also co-created C.H.O.I.C.E.S, a group of federal inmates who went out into the community to speak to at-risk youth about the consequences of poor choices.

Turk is a proud mother of four children. She has a B.S. in communications from Boston University and a CPC from Coaching for Transformation/ Leadership that Works.
