[eBrief] Integration is the Key to Realize the Benefit of Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure
Gartner defines hybrid cloud computing as policy-based and coordinated service provisioning, as well as the use and management of a mixture of internal (private) and external (public) cloud services. Developing a unified hybrid cloud environment is fast becoming the norm, with Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Google and Juniper pushing their respective cloud offerings.
As hybrid cloud computing adoption increases, Forrester predicts that hybrid cloud management solutions will be sold in parts, or included for free in flexible consumption packages, in contrast to the concept of a unified, single-pane-of-glass management solution to manage all of the clouds of a specific organization. A better integrated and orchestrated hybrid cloud environment helps organizations to reduce the complexity and enhance efficiency.
