Dr. Hao Xu has over 20 years of research experience in wireless communications. He has worked on three wireless generations from 3G to 5G, leading various topics in research, prototyping and standardization. In particular, he has been leading eMTC/NB-IoT/mMTC research across 4G and 5G. He has numerous journal publications and patents. He is the co-recipient of IEEE Communications Society 1999 Stephen Rice Award and served a few years as editor for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.
